NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Tri-County’s two most-respected names in service to community are teaming with Harris Teeter for the Round Up Campaign, which invites shoppers to round up purchases to the nearest dollar. All proceeds will be equally split between The Salvation Army and Trident United Way and remain in the Tri-County.
The program runs now through Nov. 17 at all 18 Harris Teeter Tri-County region stores. Bringing together two charitable leaders like the Salvation Army and Trident United Way, Harris Teeter is proud to continue its tradition of neighborhood service and community leadership.
The Salvation Army assists individuals and families-in-need by providing food for the hungry, emergency relief for disaster survivors, rehabilitation services and clothing and shelter for those facing homelessness.
Trident United Way, through proven services such as the 211 Resource Line and Resource Connection Centers and key partnerships, empowers people to break the cycle of poverty by providing access to education, financial stability and health resources in the Tri-County community.
