Our focus on healthy communities centers around improving access to healthcare and addressing underlying factors to ensure that everyone can live their version of health. In partnership with MUSC and Roper St. Francis Healthcare we're proud to provide access to health services to community members through the Trident United Way Resource Connection Centers.
Services include:
- Health screenings like breast cancer, blood sugar and hypertension
- Connection to free and reduced cost health services
- Help navigating the healthcare system, health insurance and complicated diagnoses
- Private and reliable space to meet with your provider virtually via telehealth

Telehealth
Telehealth services are available for individuals who need a private space with reliable internet connection.
Book a private suite, equipped with a laptop, headphones and wifi connection to talk with a healthcare provider through a pre-established appointment
Mondays, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Community Health Worker
A Community Health Worker is available for individuals who need help navigating the healthcare system
Book time with the CHW who an answer questions about insurance, connect with providers, navigate multiple conditions and provide health screenings
4th Wednesday of every month, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Also available with the Mobile Health Units

Roper St. Francis Healtcare Mobile Health Unit
The RSFH Mobile Health Unit is available for individuals who need health screenings
Receive health screenings (blood pressure, glucose/blood sugar, cancer) and health care connection services with a Community Health Worker

MUSC Mobile Mammography Unit
The MUSC Mobile Mammography Unit is available for individuals who have not been screened in the last 365 days for these cancers.
Receive screenings for breast cancer (risk assessment and mammography referral) and cervical cancer (pap smears).
