North Charleston, SC- Trident United Way and local corporate partners Chernoff Newman, Elliott Davis and Greystar volunteered over several days last week as part of Day of Action, a Global Day of Service in partnership with United Way Worldwide that benefits and supports older adults in our community. Volunteers had the opportunity to participate in various projects throughout the Tri-County area and/or coordinate much-needed senior supply drives.

Volunteers from each organization, as well as some additional individual volunteers, took part in a variety of activities at Tri-County senior centers, including bingo, chair yoga, meal service, stocking supplies and letter writing. Charleston Area Seniors, Dorchester Seniors and Meals on Wheels all hosted volunteers for the event.
