Thank
you for considering a gift of stock to
Trident United Way
1.
If shares are held at your Brokerage House,
Trust Department, or Financial Institution:
A.
Call Kenton Morrison; Vice-President, Major
Gifts & Planned, Trident United Way, at
(843) 740-9000 and inform her of the gift.
B.
Notify your financial advisor of the name and
quantity to transfer to Trident United Way.
C.
Ask your advisor to transfer the shares to DTC
Clearing #0955 (Bank of America) for credit
to A/C# 07020191050517 in the name of Trident
United Way.
D.
Your advisor sells the shares within the institution’s
Trident United Way Account. If your institution
does not have a Trident United Way account,
we will be happy to establish one.
E.
Please ask your broker to notify Trident United
Way that the gift is coming and the type of
stock being transferred.
2.
If shares are held by you:
A.
Call Trident United Way at 740-9000 and ask
for Kenton Morrison.
B.
If within the Lowcountry, Trident United Way
will arrange to pick up the certificates. We
will need:
•
the stock certificate(s)
• a signed stock power form (provided by Trident
United Way).
• a signed security release form (provided by
Trident United Way).
